Painted on a public wall on 207th Street and 10th Avenue in New York City on a sunny day in spring, the mural reads “كان لي يومٌ يكون و فراشةٌ بنت سجون“ I had a day that will come and a butterfly cocooned in prisons. It was painted for the female political prisoners in the Arab world.
