Children of Assiut

This artwork is an ode to 51 lost children. It was painted in 2013 after a train crashed into a school bus killing the children on the bus in a village in Assuit - Egypt. The children were brought back to life on the walls of Cairo, each child walking on a train railway with their names painted on their backpacks. They are painted in black but their wishes and dreams are painted in color.
